Adoptions: What You Need to Know
Giving a dog a forever home is one of the most rewarding things you can do — and it comes with everything they need to start their new life happy and healthy!
Canine adoptions are $250, which includes:
Spay or neuter
Core vaccinations (parvovirus, distemper, coronavirus, leptospirosis, parainfluenza, adenovirus types 1 & 2, bordetella, and rabies)
Microchip for identification
Deworming
4DX testing (heartworm, Lyme, ehrlichiosis, and anaplasmosis): this is only applicable for dogs 6 months and older
Initial flea, tick, and heartworm prevention

Feline Adoptions are $125, which includes:
Spay or Neuter
Basic vaccinations
Rabies

Deworming

Make an appointment to visit us!
You’re welcome to see our adoptable pups at the shelter 7 days a week. Some dogs are in loving foster homes, so visits with them can be scheduled directly with the foster family. After completing your application, email wcnkasadoptions@gmail.com to set up your appointment.
